Thinking of buying an LCD TV?

Hisense makes sense for anyone wanting to buy an LCD TV, according to the Australian customers surveyed by Canstar Blue.

Hisense has won Canstar Blue’s Most Satisfied Customers, LCD TV award following a survey conducted by professional market researchers, Colmar Brunton.

Sony, LG, Samsung and Panasonic all came in second for overall customer satisfaction, followed by Sharp.

Customers involved in the comparison of the six major brands were generally delighted with sound, picture and service.

The few who registered concerns cited signal quality, the arrival of new models or cheaper deals after purchase, warranty difficulties and power consumption as disadvantages.

Value for money

Customers who bought an LCD TV in the past two years also rated Hisense highly for value for money. Sony was put into second place by consumers, followed by LG, Samsung, Panasonic and Sharp.


Customers were most impressed with Sony when it came to performance of their LCD TV. Hisense were also rated highly in this category, coming in at equal second place with LG, Samsung Sony, Panasonic and Sharp.
