Duo score wash-out win in washing powder customer satisfaction
Deciding which laundry powder to buy doesn’t have to be a hassle. To help you get a better result from your weekly wash, we compared customer satisfaction with various washing powder brands in our latest ratings.
Duo achieved five star ratings in all our survey criteria – including overall customer satisfaction, environmental friendliness, value for money, and the quality of clean of garments post-wash – and received our Most Satisfied Customers Award – Laundry Powder for 2013.
Also rated in this survey were ALDI brands, Omo, Radiant, Biozet Attack, Spree, Fab, Cold Power, Surf and Coles brands.
This survey also compared laundry liquids.
Canstar Blue commissioned Colmar Brunton to survey 2,500 Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported in this survey are the results from customers within the survey group who purchased and used laundry powder in the last three months – in this case, 1,315 people.
Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands that received three stars still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.
The survey results also revealed that 86% of respondents still rely on their clothes line to dry their laundry. Of those respondents, three quarters did so to save money, two thirds were focused on the environmental benefits, and one third had no alternative.
Other survey respondents (amusingly) stated the use of their clothes line gave them control over the elements. One in five declared that if they wanted it to rain, all they needed to do was put the washing out.
