To that end, we’ve rated seven front loader washing machine brands to help you find a powerhouse for laundry duties. We’ve done this by asking appliance owners to review the front loader they’ve purchased in the last few years.

After we crunched the numbers, it was clear that Miele’s washing machines were the front loader more Australians customers were satisfied with. The company deservingly received our 2014 award in this category, mirroring a similar victory in 2011.

While Miele largely stole the show – it received five-star ratings in all criteria but one – other brands also made their mark:

  • LG finished with five stars for front loader reliability and ease of use
  • Electrolux achieved a top rating for value for money.

Samsung, Bosch, Whirlpool and Fisher & Paykel were also rated. In conjunction with these ratings, we have also compared top loading washing machines.
