While we claim to come from the lucky country, we too often forget it is also a sun-kissed one. It’s easy to let the task of applying sunscreen fall by the wayside – even in the cold of Winter. We should be slip slop slapping regularly; and if you’re must, you may as well invest in an award-winning brand.
This is the first year we’ve produced our Everyday Essentials Awards, which have measured how satisfied your typical Australian shopper is with products they buy on a regular basis. In our sunscreens category, ALDI has finished in front with our latest award for customer satisfaction.
They were compared alongside Avon, The Cancer Council, SunSense, Le Tan, Neutrogena, Woolworths Brands, Banana Boat, Nivea, Hamilton, and Coles Brands.
Canstar Blue commissions Colmar Brunton to regularly survey 2,500 Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported in these Everyday Essentials Awards are the results from customers within the survey group who have purchased and used sunscreen in the last six months – in this case, 1,404 people.
Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands receiving three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.
