Thomas Cooper, back in 1862, started his own brewery that would attempt to shy away from the supposed ‘peculiar flavour’ of imported beers. Coopers, operated in South Australia, is family owned by surviving Coopers family members and is marketed in both Australia and overseas. They sell many types of beer, including:
