Melbourne’s city train network is simply named The Metro and operates across 830 kilometres of track connecting Melbourne commuters via city rail trains. 400,000 customers per day will travel on various city train services operating seven days a week on 15 city train lines and 211 train stations. The Metro is Melbourne’s main city link train service but commuters also rely on the city’s bus and tram services.
