Queensland Rail is a State Government owned railway that has existed for more than 140 years. To this day, Queensland Rail runs services all over the state, from the city link trains in the greater Brisbane area, to the more remote areas of Queensland, and is aided by Queensland Department of Transport’s bus services and (in the case of Brisbane city) CityCat ferries.

• Runs more than 260,000 services, a large portion of which are city train routes
• Serves the largest population centres of the South East, while also connecting the more remote regions of the state
