For the ultimate cordless phone experience, customers should look to Uniden for a five star phone brand – according to our survey of cordless phone customers.

Uniden – who have famously boasted that they manufacture a cordless phone every 3.2 seconds – received top marks in several criteria; including ease of use, features and range.

Most importantly, Uniden received our most satisfied customers award for cordless phones. Our survey also rated popular brands Panasonic, Oricom and Telstra.

Our latest results also showed that more than half of the respondents to our latest survey said they would prefer to use their landline phone rather than their mobile phone for phone calls due to health concerns.

Older Australians were more likely to choose a landline phone to protect their health (55%) compared to 46% of the Generation Y respondents.

A similar sentiment was found in our last mobile phones survey, with over a third of respondents choosing to distance their phones from their head using a hands free kits or the loudspeaker function.

Earlier this year, The World Health Organisation announced a possible link between mobile phones and cancer.
