Customers who had bought a plasma TV in the past two years were asked to give an overall satisfaction ranking as well as to rank their satisfaction with value for money and performance.

In overall satisfaction, Panasonic was followed by equally placed LG and Samsung, with Sony in third place.

Customers are particularly concerned with the picture, price and reliability of their plasma TVs. Good service during purchase also counted with customers, while others were concerned about power consumption.

Value for money

In the value for money assessment, Panasonic beat LG, with Samsung and Sony ranking equal third.

Performance

The story was the same for performance, with Panasonic the clear winner in the customer approval stakes, followed by second-placed LG and equal third-placed Samsung and Sony.
