Euro Solar Review and Guide

EURO SOLAR IS NO LONGER IN OPERATION.

Please treat below information as historical only.

As you might have guessed from the name, Euro Solar is a solar company. When Euro Solar started in 2007, the company said its goal was to provide homes across the country with renewable energy solutions and quality solar energy systems. More than 10 years later and Euro Solar now proclaims itself to be “Australia’s #1 solar retailer”. It specialises in residential solar and offers an array of packages with everything a house needs to get started with solar.

The Euro Solar website doesn’t have much information about the company’s prices or products. That said, in this review, Canstar Blue will endeavour to cover everything you need to know about Euro Solar.

Euro Solar products

Euro Solar has five solar system packages immediately visible on its website: 3kW, 5kW, 5.5kW, 6.6kW and 10kW. Of course, if these don’t suit your needs, Euro Solar can give you a personalised quote. Euro Solar says it only uses high-efficiency panels and that all its installers are Clean Energy Council accredited.

Depending on the type of solar panel, it will be backed by a 10-12 year manufacturer’s warranty, plus a 25-30 year performance guarantee and a 10 year guarantee on workmanship. Selected Euro Solar inverters also come with an optional 10 year warranty.

Euro Solar prices

Euro Solar doesn’t publish pricing on its site at the time of writing, although it does provide a few different avenues for a quote, including a phone line, online quote or callback. You will need to request a personal quote from Euro Solar for information tailored to your situation.

Euro Solar finance options

Euro Solar is now offering 0% interest payment plans with flexible payment options. The 0% interest will only apply for a certain period of time, after which interest will begin to accrue, but not backdate.

To receive this no finance deal, however, you will need to have one of the cards listed below:

  • Gem VISA
  • CreditLine
  • Buyer’s edge
  • Go PayPass

As you can probably guess, there’s plenty of terms and conditions attaching to Euro Solar’s finance options, so give them a call if you have any questions.
