The story behind the brand
Neutrogena was founded in 1930 as Natone, a small, specialty cosmetics company that was a member of the renowned Johnson & Johnson family. These days, its advertised as the #1 skincare brand recommended by American dermatologists. Neutrogena’s #ChooseSkinHealth campaign has completed more than 13,000 free skin cancer screenings and helped diagnose 1,300 cases of skin cancer in the USA.
Neutrogena Australia was later founded in 1954. Neutrogena Australia says it combines beauty with sun safety. And the brand won the 2011 ACP Beauty Awards Judges Choice for Facial Sunscreen for their Ultimate Sport Sunscreen Lotion.
