Getting the most from your detergent purchases

ALDI’s own brand scrubbed out some extremely stubborn competition to earn our Most Satisfied Customers Award – Bathroom Cleaners. It may have only scored a three-star rating for smell, but what it costs you in the nostril department it will save you in elbow grease, scoring five out of five for ease of use, effectiveness and value for money.

Incidentally, a quarter of our survey respondents on this subject claimed their bathroom floor was so clean they could eat from it. Whether they actually do or not is another matter.

Earth Choice was the winner of our Most Satisfied Customers Award – Dishwashing Liquids, wiping away the competition with top ratings for effectiveness, smell and environmental friendliness. But if you’re like the 22% of our survey respondents who can’t remember the last time they did the washing up by hand, Fairy was top of the tree in winning our Most Satisfied Customers Award – Dishwasher Detergents.

One in four survey respondents told us that doing the laundry is their least favourite household chore. But hopefully Radiant will make life a little easier for you as it left the rest in a spin by winning our Most Satisfied Customers Award – Laundry Liquids, scoring five-star ratings for quality of clean, number of washes and feel of clothes after washing. Meanwhile, the Most Satisfied Customers Award – Laundry Powders went to ALDI’s own brands, which washed away a long list of rivals to take the honours.
