About Asus tablets

asus logoAsus was founded in 1989 in Taiwan by four hardware engineers. The company had a bumpy start, but quickly expanded into a large computer manufacturer, building itself a reputation for quality products by the early 2000’.

Asus launched its first tablet computer in March 2011 with its Eee Pad Transormer – a tablet with an optional docking keyboard. Since then, Asus has continued expanding its tablet range with unique, quality products.

What’s next for Asus tablets?

The latest addition to the Asus tablet line-up is the Asus Transformer Pad (TF701T), offering a quad-core processor, a SonicMaster speaker, a 2560 x 1600 screen and much more. Asus has shown interest in expanding its Transformer Pads from its tablet series, however the company is yet to announce any upcoming products.
