About Lenovo tablets

lenovo logoThe Lenovo Group is a Chinese multinational computer and device manufacture. The company was founded in 1984, producing computer components for many years. It wasn’t until 2005 that Lenovo began producing personal computers after purchasing IBM. It then expanded into smartphones in 2012, partnering up with Motorola to become the largest Chinese smartphone manufacturer.

Lenovo launched its tablet range in 2011 with the ‘ThinkPad tablet’, a laptop–tablet hybrid which the company acquired the rights to when it purchased IBM. These hybrid tablets have subsequently been expanded upon with improved ThinkPads, as well as the new, sleek ‘Yoga’ tablet range.
