About Boom Broadband

boom broadband logoOwned and operated by three guys out of a single office in Melbourne, Boom Broadband is an Australian telecommunications start-up, dealing exclusively in NBN broadband products and phone services.

It was launched in 2012 and piggybacks on the network provided by AAPT, an NBN wholesaler owned by TPG. Despite the small size of the operation, Boom has the ability to serve customers across the country.

It offers flexibility on data caps and desired speed, as well as the price of the bundled phone service. Boom offers a no-contact option on many of its products, meaning there’s no lock-in, which is a rarity in the telecommunications market.
