Owen Maclaren was an aeronautical engineer who, in the 1960s, invented the fold out stroller with collapsible support assembly (also known as the ‘baby buggy’). This design is used today by countless stroller brands in over fifty countries, and the UK company continues to make strollers and other baby products (including toys, cots and carriers). They are a privately owned company.
