Founded in 1908 William Henry “Boss” Hoover after purchasing a patent by inventor James Murray Spangler, Hoover has become a worldwide brand heavily associated with the development and production of vacuum cleaners.

Hoover produce a wide range of vacuum cleaner products that are sold all over the world, including in both Australia and New Zealand.

They are owned by Techtronic Industries (except in Europe – where they are owned by a company named Candy).
