Hyundai has a philosophy: ‘New thinking, new possibilities’.
Apparently this mantra is working, with the Korean car manufacturer taking out two of our motoring awards this year.

Other brands rated were Mazda, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Holden, Honda and Ford.
The contrast between Generation Y drivers and Baby Boomer drivers is startling:
Thirty eight percent of Gen Y drivers let their car go past the ‘service-by’ date, compared to only 12% of Baby Boomers
Sixteen percent of Gen Y drivers are driving their cars unregistered compared to only 2% of Baby Boomers
Thirty percent of Gen Y drivers would rather invest in a sound system for their car rather than safety features, compared to 4% of Baby Boomer drivers
The fine for driving an unregistered vehicle can amount to hundreds of dollars in fines and can void car insurance if the vehicle is not properly registered.
Canstar Blue commissioned Colmar Brunton to survey 7,500 Australian consumers over a number of months to measure their satisfaction across a range of products and services. The outcomes reported are the results from car purchasers within the survey group. To qualify, the customer has to have bought a new car from a dealership in the last three years.
Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands that received three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.
