Fastflowers.com.au live up to their name with inaugural award

Most Satisfied Customers 2014 - Online Flower DeliveryWhat better way to show your loved ones you care than by organising a beautiful bunch of flowers to be delivered their way? We’ve compared some of the best online flower delivery services for any special occasion you may be looking to celebrate.

Fast Flowers took out the inaugural Most Satisfied Customers Award – Online Flower Delivery, 2014 ahead of other rated brands Petals, Interflora, Roses Only, 1300Flowers and Ready Flowers.

Impressively, Fast Flowers received five star ratings in a number of criteria, including overall satisfaction, value for money, range of flowers on offer and range of other items on offer.

Five star gongs also went to:

  • Interflora for ease of site navigation, range of other items on offer and speed of delivery
  • 1300Flowers for range of other items on offer, and
  • Roses Only for speed of delivery.

One in three respondents to this survey have had flowers delivered to their workplace on Valentine’s Day. Unsurprisingly females were more likely to have received flowers to their workplace on Valentine’s Day then males, 42% versus 27%.

Sending flowers to your beloved at work is likely to get your some high praise at home, with nine out of ten of those who had received flowers to their workplace on Valentine’s Day thinking it was a very sweet gesture. However, one in two also said they would rather be delivered a bouquet at home in private than at their workplace.

Our research shows that going out to dinner is the most popular way for long term couples to celebrate the 14th of February, with 57% saying a nice meal is their form of celebration. This was flowed by buying each other gifts (39%), buying each other a card (36%), sharing a bottle of wine (33%) and going to the movies (23%).

Canstar Blue commissions Colmar Brunton to regularly survey 2,500 Australian consumers across a range of categories to measure and track customer satisfaction. The outcomes reported are the results from customers within the survey group who have purchased flowers via an online flower delivery company in the last 12 months – in this case, 432 people.

Brands must have received at least 30 responses to be included. Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands receiving three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.
