It’s only March and online retail giant, Kogan.com, has already given customers something to cheer about, launching a number of deals encouraging people to switch service providers.

Running from 2 March to 10 March, Aussies can expect to save big on bills when switching to a range of popular services, like internet, energy, prepaid mobile, insurance and more.

Advertised as a solution to the “lazy tax”, Kogan.com is urging less motivated Australians to review a number of household services and jump ship to take advantage of savings offered by the multi-service retailer.

According to Kogan.com, bill-payers could potentially save up to $3,900 a year on services and utilities they begrudgingly pay.

“Most Australians don’t realise how much money they could be saving if they switched their services to a more affordable provider,” said Kogan.com Director of Strategy, Ross Metherell. “Giving customers a better deal is always at the heart of what we do at Kogan.com, so it was natural for us to create Switch Week and encourage people to call it quits on the Lazy Tax.

He added that: “By spending just a short amount of time switching their services online, Aussies can make significant savings to their monthly and annual household budgets, leaving them with more money to put towards savings, paying off debt, or buying things that will improve their lifestyle.

“With deals on services including electricity, gas, home internet, prepaid mobile, insurance, home loans and new and used cars there really is no better time than now to switch services and stop paying the Lazy Tax.”

Kogan Internet

If you’ve been considering moving to a super-fast NBN plan, Kogan’s NBN 100 switching offer is hard to beat. Normally priced at $88.90 per month, Kogan’s Gold unlimited Premium Evening Speed plan is available for just $74.90 per month for your first six months when you switch before 10 March.
