You may not have heard of upstart telco Circles.Life, but the brand-new provider is offering a limited-time deal that’s near unbeatable: 100GB of data for just $28 per month.
No, that’s not just a typo. Sign up to Circles.Life’s signature SIM-only mobile plan before 11.59pm AEDT on 17 November, 2019 and you’ll get a bonus 80GB of monthly data on top of your standard 20GB data allowance.
The plan also includes unlimited standard national talk and text within Australia, as well as easy data top-up options if you do blow through your 100GB limit.
How do I sign up?
To qualify, you’ll need to use the promo code 100GBFOR28 at sign-up, then activate your Circles.Life SIM card by 31 December, 2019. Once your service is up and running, you’ll receive 100GB of data each month for your first 12 months: after your first year, your plan will revert back to the standard 20GB for $28.
Needless to say, this is a seriously competitive offer that data lovers may find hard to pass up, especially if you’re looking for a flexible bring-your-own-phone deal. To help you compare, we’ve shown similar big-data plans in the below table.
The following table shows a selection of comparable published postpaid plans on Canstar Blue’s database, listed in order of cost, from the lowest to highest and then by data allowance, largest to smallest. You’ll need to sign up by 30 November, 2019, and activate your SIM card by 31 December to claim your monthly $10 discount.
What is Circles.Life?
Circles.Life is a recently-launched provider taking a new, flexible approach to postpaid mobile plans, with an emphasis on preventing bill shock. Aside from the 100GB promo deal, Circles.Life offers just one monthly plan option, the aforementioned 20GB (plus unlimited calls and texts) for $28 per month.
Customers are able to add extra gigabytes to their plan at any time, via two data add-ons. You can purchase an additional 20GB for $10 (available once per month, and added automatically to your plan once switched on), or 3GB for $6 (available as often as required).
Circles.Life’s 20GB add-on is charged to your monthly bill and can be switched on or off at any time, and the smaller 3GB Boost is a one-off that is charged immediately to your debit or credit card.

If you do exceed your monthly data allowance before buying an add-on, Circles.Life also offers ‘bill shock protection.’ Run out of data, and you’ll be credited with an automatic extra 3GB – giving you enough time to curb your usage, buy an additional 3GB or 20GB, or simply use any further data at pay-as-you-go rates (charged at $0.01 per megabyte).
Circles.Life also offers international calls and roaming, although these services aren’t included in your plan price. Any roaming or overseas call charges will be billed to your Circles.Life account, and the telco does impose a roaming cap of $300 on all customers. Once you’ve racked up this amount in overseas use, your roaming service will be disabled until the next billing cycle (or until you contact Circles.Life to request roaming be reinstated).
All Australian coverage is offered on Optus’ 4G, 4G Plus and 3G networks, and all plans are month-to-month and contract-free. So if you’re interested in giving Circles.Life a try, you won’t be locked in long-term if you’re unhappy with your plan or service.
