Review of Mr Muscle cleaning products
Mr Muscle is a cleaning brand owned by the SC Johnson Company and aims to do whatever it takes to make tough cleaning as easy as possible. It produces several cleaning products from multipurpose sprays to drain cleaners.
From an environmental perspective, Mr Muscle states that many elements of its products and packaging can be recycled. SC Johnson also aims to improve its brands including Mr Muscle products to encourage green choices and use fewer resources as well as reduce waste.
Mr Muscle bathroom cleaners
Mr Muscle has two options to help with cleaning your bathroom including the Mr Muscle Mould & Mildew Cleaner and Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Bathroom Cleaner. Mr Muscle Mould & Mildew Cleaner spray is formulated with foam that aims to remove mould, clean soap scum and disinfect. It is designed for use on bath tubs, showers, basins, stainless steel, chrome, fiberglass, plastic and vinyl. Standard size is a 500ml spray bottle.
Another product for bathroom cleaning is the Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Bathroom Cleaner. It is also a spray formulated to disinfect and remove soap scum and grime. The Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Bathroom Cleaner can be used on enamel, plastic, porcelain, bathtubs and sinks. It is not recommended for use on wood or varnished surfaces and you should spot test on surfaces before using it. Standard size is a 500ml spray bottle.
Mr Muscle floor cleaner
For floor solutions, Mr Muscle produces Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Total Floor Cleaner. It is designed to disinfect floors while removing grease and grime. It comes in a fresh lemon scent and standard sizes are 750ml spray or a 5L bottle.
Mr Muscle multipurpose cleaners
For multipurpose cleaners, there are two products in the line – Mr Muscle Multi Purpose Cleaner spray and Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Kitchen Cleaner spray. Mr Muscle Multi Purpose Cleaner is designed to disinfect and remove grease and grime. The two fragrance options available are Fresh or Citrus scents. Standard sizes are an option of 500ml or 5L.
Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Kitchen Cleaner is designed to be used on countertops, tiles, sinks and workspaces. It is also formulated to disinfect and remove grease and grime. Mr Muscle 5 in 1 Kitchen Cleaner comes in a Fresh Lemon scent only. Standard size is a 500ml spray bottle.
Mr Muscle oven cleaner
Mr Muscle aims to take the hard work out of cleaning your oven with Mr Muscle Non Caustic Oven Cleaner. It is formulated with a no fumes and non-caustic formula to give an odourless cleaning solution. Mr Muscle Non Caustic Oven Cleaner is designed to help remove baked-on grease and grime. It should not be used on hot surfaces, BBQs, pilot lights, fans and stove tops, and you should avoid spraying it on exterior surfaces, metals, plastic or floor coverings. It is recommended that thick rubber gloves and eye protection is worn when using Mr Muscle Oven Cleaner. Standard size is 300g.
Mr Muscle drain cleaners
In the Mr Muscle cleaning range there are also a couple of drain cleaners available – Mr Muscle Drano Drain Crystals and Mr Muscle Drano Ultra Gel. Mr Muscle Drano Drain Crystals are designed for slow running drains and aims to dissolve clogs in sinks, basins or bathtubs. Standard sizes are an option of a 500g tub or 70g sachets.
Mr Muscle Drano Ultra Gel is designed for fully blocked drains. It aims to clear total blockages and penetrate standing water. Mr Muscle Drano Ultra Gel should not be used for dishwashers, washing machines, spas, garbage disposals, toilets or any pipes leading to these outlets. It is also not recommended to mix Mr Muscle Drano Ultra Gel with any other cleaning products. Standard size is a 750ml bottle.
Should I use Mr Muscle cleaning products?
Mr Muscle has a fairly small cleaning product range with a focus on tough cleaning needs. For most of its products it is recommend wearing eye protection and cleaning gloves due to the ingredients involved. Mr Muscle does not go into a variety of fragrances for its kitchen and bathroom cleaning sprays, but does have a broadly appealing lemon fragrance available.
