Quality after sales service is all about keeping your car at its best. Whether you’re looking to fit new accessories like a towbar or a roof rack, or servicing to maintain your warranty - the experience (and the end result) can vary.
But which car brand does the best job in the eyes of their customers?
Between twelve big brands, Mazda has been awarded our after sales service award.
The Mazda Maintenance Program is designed for Mazda customer to have their bi-annual service done as smoothly as possible. Services include the Mazda Modular Diagnostic System (M-MDS) which checks the electronics of the vehicle being driven, genuine Mazda parts sales, and standard servicing duties such as oil changes, battery testing and diagnostics.
Several brands can pride themselves on a four star rating for after sales service. These brands are Volkswagen, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Toyota, Ford, Subaru, Honda and Holden.
Kia, Suzuki and Nissan all received a three star rating for their after sale services.
Canstar Blue commissioned Colmar Brunton to survey 7,500 Australian consumers over a number of months to measure their satisfaction across a range of products and services. The outcomes reported are the results from car purchasers within the survey group. To qualify, the customer has to have bought a new car from a dealership in the last three years.
Results are comparative and it should be noted that brands that received three stars have still achieved a satisfaction measure of at least six out of 10.
