About More mobile plans
More, a sister company to Tangerine, is an Australian telecom that offers no lock-in contract postpaid SIM-only plans, along with a range of home internet plans.
All six postpaid More phone plans include unlimited standard national calls and texts, a variety of data inclusions and data banking from up to 500GB or up to 1000GB. More’s mobile plans run on a monthly billing period and are technically considered postpaid plans, you will be required to pre-pay for your service at the beginning of the month.
International call and text inclusions to 15 select countries come standard on all plans excluding the cheapest plan. International roaming packs over three, seven or 14 days are also available for an additional cost.
More mobile plans for Commbank members
More has partnered with Commbank to give Commbank Yello members discounts off their More mobile plans. Those who bank with Commbank can get discounts on their monthly plan payments. To access the discounts, you’ll need to log into your Commbank app, get the code and use your Commbank card as your More mobile payment method.
Another way Commbank members get more out of their More phone plans, is connecting your Commbank app to your More account. More currently doesn’t have an app, so connecting your More account to your Commbank app allows you to monitor your data usage.
Which mobile network does More use?
More is an Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) using parts of the Telstra 4G and 5G mobile network to deliver service. Telstra’s network reaches 99.7% of Australia’s population, though More’s mobile service doesn’t have access to the full network. The wholesale network that More has access to, still covers 98.8% of the population. Customers will only have access to 5G on the five most expensive plans and download speeds are capped at 150Mbps and 250Mbps depending on the plan.

More mobile review: Are More phone plans worth signing up to?
While More’s mobile phone plans don’t offer the best value for money on bigger data options , the partnership with Commbank would be the biggest bonus for the telco. For those who already bank with Commbank, you’ll be able to access discounts on their phone plan for the entirety of your time signed up to a More mobile plan, and you’ll also be able to track data usage easier than More’s customers who don’t use Commbank.
Otherwise, if you’re looking for a cheap SIM-only plan and aren’t a Commbank Yello member, you’ll want to compare plans from a wider range of providers to help you find a plan that will best suit your budget and needs.
