What is the Google Pixel 10 release date?
The Google Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL are available to pre-order now. All three devices will arrive in stores August 28.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold will arrive in Australia from October 9, 2025, with pre-orders now live. You’ll be able to buy all four new Pixels on phone plans from Telstra, Optus and Vodafone, as well as outright from the Google Store, JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman and Officeworks.

How much does the Google Pixel 10 cost?
This year’s entry-level Pixel 10 is priced from $1,349 AUD, on par with last year’s standard Pixel 9. The Pixel 10 Pro begins at $1,699 AUD, while the Pro XL starts from $1,999 AUD — $150 more than the Pixel 9 Pro XL in 2024.

Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL
Google’s Pixel 10 range includes the standard Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL. Each device comes with a durable matte glass finish and spacecraft-grade aluminum body, plus IP68 water and dust resistance.
All three phones feature a smooth Super Actua display and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, along with up to 3,000 nits of peak brightness on the Pixel 10 and 3,300 on the Pro models. Screen sizes for each phone are:

No matter which Pixel you pick, you’ll get Google’s powerful new Tensor G5 processor and Titan M2 protection. Tensor G5 offers massive performance increases compared to last year’s phones, including a 34% faster CPU and a 60% boost in machine learning power, giving the device an improved understanding of images and audio. Each device comes with Google’s supercharged Gemini AI assistant built-in, offering a range of helpful features including:
- Gemini Live: A way to have real-time, hands-free AI conversations with Gemini, including using your camera, screen and other media to ask questions or find info.
- Magic Cue: Google’s new personalised pop-up that suggests relevant information unpromoted based on your actions (for example, displaying your flight details when you go to call your airline).
- Pixel Screenshots: Save, organise and find info based on screenshots in your photo library.
- Camera Coach: Offers suggestions when taking photos based on lighting, subject matter and more.
- Add Me and Auto Best Take: Merge multiple photos to ensure the whole group is included, and that everyone looks their best.
- Magic Editor and Magic Eraser: Reimagine and edit photos with a tap of the screen, including adding or subtracting objects and people.
- Circle to Search: Circle or tap on anything in an image or screenshot to identify, or search for info on.
Google’s AI Pro plan is include free with for one year with the Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, so eligible buyers will get added Gemini Pro features and even text-to-video generation tools.

Gemini works in tandem with the Pixel’s triple camera systems to deliver next-level photos, especially in low lighting or from a distance. The full camera lineups for each Pixel 10 model are:

All three new Pixels come with improved battery life, with up to 30 or more hours of use on a full charge. Each of the Pixel 10 models comes with 5G capability, eSIM and dual SIM, fingerprint and face unlock security and Google’s Android 16 operating system. You’ll get seven years of guaranteed security and system updates from launch.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold
Google’s foldable Pixel is back with an all-new durable build, gearless hinge and tough Super Actua Flex Display, designed to hold up for at least 200,000 folds. The 10 Pro Fold features a bigger 8-inch inner display and 6.4-inch external screen, offering a bright, clear viewing experience whether open or closed. It’s also fine-tuned for multi-tasking, and allows use of up to three apps simultaneously via Split Screen.
Like the other Pixel 10 models, the Fold features Google’s Tensor G5 processor and Titan M2 security co-processor, as well as Android 16 out of the box. The combination of hardware and software help power Google’s advanced AI features, including Magic Cue: an all-new AI assistant that offers you the info you need, when you need it, unprompted. You’ll also get all the AI capabilities included on the rest of the Pixel 10 range, such as Magic Editor, Circle to Search and Gemini Live.
Google’s AI suite also offers upgraded photo and video quality and editing, including the new Gemini-powered Camera Coach which helps you optimise images from within the camera app. The advanced triple rear camera system packs in a 48MP wide angle lens, a 10.5MP ultrawide lens with Macro Focus, and a 10.8MP 5x telephoto lens, with an 10MP front camera and additional 10MP inner camera giving you options from every angle. The Fold’s cameras include the same modes, tools and editing options as the 10 Pro and 10 Pro XL, as well as Fold-only dual screen and tabletop modes.
The Pixel 10 Pro Fold comes with 30-plus hours of battery life per charge, with up to 84 hours when Extreme Battery Saver is enabled. With a typical battery capacity of 5,015mAh, it’s a big-battery phone that’s compatible with fast charging (including Qi-certified snap-on wireless charging via Google’s Pixelsnap accessory range).
Rounding out the key features, you’ll get 5G connectivity, dual SIM/eSIM capability, and fingerprint and face authentication options. Like the other new Pixel models, the 10 Pro Fold comes with seven years of Android and security updates from launch, and regular feature upgrades through Pixel Drop. You’ll also get a free one-year subscription to Google AI Pro, valued at $32.99 per month.
