About Tyrepower

Tyrepower 1Tyrepower was formed in 1977 as a merger between ten separate tyre retailers, and has since grown into Australia’s largest independent network of tyre sellers. Tyrepower prides itself on being an owner-operated organisation, whereby individual store owners are fully independent and directly own their store as opposed to utilising a more limiting franchise model.

Tyrepower’s size and reputation has allowed them to create preferential buying deals with a large number of major manufacturers, meaning they can pass on savings to their customers. In addition to their massive range of tyres, the company also sells replacement wheels and provides a range of services including tyre alignment, battery maintenance and repairs for suspension, steering and brakes. Tyrepower offers their services to both retail and fleet customers.

What our survey respondents say about Tyrepower

Canstar Blue’s most recent car tyre retailer survey sought the opinions of more than 1,200 drivers around Australia. Some of the comments from customers who purchased tyres from Tyrepower were as follows:

The service I received was fantastic. The gentlemen who served me gave me great information about my old tyres & the new ones. No call afterwards to see what I think.
Professional and polite service. Too big – I prefer small retailers if they can come close on price.
I was after a specific type of tyres, and they had them on the shelf. No discount in buying four new tyres in one hit.
The representative I dealt with had good product knowledge a great rapport and made the entire process easy. Communications with customer could be a little better.
Had reasonably priced tyres and were fitted in a reasonable amount of time. Now that all tyres are imported, they should be much, much cheaper.
