What NBN plans does TPG offer?
TPG NBN plans cover a wide range of speed tiers and all plans are available month-to-month or on a six-month contract. If you choose to BYO modem, your plan will be month-to-month. However, if you want to add a modem to your plan, you’ll either pay $0 (plus $10 delivery) if you sign up to a six-month contract, otherwise you can pay for your modem upfront and stay month-to-month. Keep in mind that if you want to cancel your plan, you may need to pay an early termination fee.
You’ll have a wide range of speeds to choose from as TPG is also one of the few providers to offer a full suite of plans starting at NBN 12 and going up to NBN 1000 speeds. All plans include unlimited data, along with the option to add on call packs. You can also bundle a SIM-only mobile plan with your TPG NBN plan.
TPG NBN plans are compatible with FTTP, HFC, FTTB, FTTN and FTTC NBN technology types, however faster speed tiers, like NBN 250 and NBN 1000 are typically only available to homes with FTTP and some HFC connections.
TPG NBN deals
If you’re looking to save on your NBN plan fees, you can regularly pick up deals and discounts on NBN plans from TPG. These deals can be discounts on your monthly plan cost, price matching or even a month’s plan fees for free. Keep an eye out to see what TPG NBN deals are currently on offer.
TPG NBN speeds
While TPG offers NBN across all the major speed tiers — starting at NBN 12 and going up to NBN 1000 — the real-world experience of these plans will vary. TPG lists its typical evening speed across all NBN plans, however these speeds can change. You can check our guide on typical evening speeds to find out more about the TPG NBN speeds.
TPG call rates and call packs
If you want to add a home phone service to your TPG NBN plan, you can either choose to either pay-as-you-go or add on a call pack. There are a few different call packs to choose from with different inclusions, however these packs will be for an additional monthly cost. For households that don’t make calls too often, pay-as-you-go might be the best option, while anyone regularly making calls may find a call pack will be the best option.
