How to score FREE NBN with Swoop’s Perks

Home internet provider Swoop is running a refer-a-friend discount that gives new and old customers the chance to score FREE broadband for a full six months.

The telco is rewarding customers with a $15 per month plan discount for every friend or family member referred to any Swoop internet plan. And as there’s no limits on how many people a customer can refer, savvy users have the opportunity to cut their bill down to zero dollars by getting multiple friends on board.

Swoop Perks: how it works

Called Swoop Perks, the program includes a $15 monthly bill credit for both you, and the friend you refer to Swoop — so it’s a win-win for everyone involved. Both the referrer and referee will be eligible for this discount for six months, after which plans will revert back to standard monthly costs.

The offer is available across all of Swoop’s home internet plans, including NBN, Opticomm and fixed wireless.

Whether you’re an existing or new Swoop customer, you’ll need to find your unique referral code in order to refer friends and claim your bill rebate. You can find this code in the customer portal on Swoop’s website, in your confirmation email at signup, or by contacting Swoop’s customer service team on 1300 66 55 75.

Once you’ve got your code, forward it on to friends or family who want to jump to Swoop, and ask them to enter it in the promo/referral code box at the checkout. Once your mate has successfully completed the signup process, you’ll both receive an automatic six-month bill credit.

Customers will receive $15 per referred friend — so two successful referrals can net you a $30 discount, three saves you $45, and so on. There’s no restrictions on how many friends you can refer, so customers with five or more broadband buddies will earn enough credit to wipe out their NBN or Opticomm bills completely for the six-month offer period.

Swoop’s NBN plans begin at $69 per month for NBN 25 speeds, with options available up to ultra-fast NBN 1000 for $139 monthly. All plans include unlimited data, no lock-in contracts, and an optional TP-Link modem/router for $130 upfront.
