About Expressi coffee machines

expressi logoMany people associate a discount price with a reduction in quality, but this is certainly not the case with Expressi. They are our highest rating brand for customer satisfaction this year, and the only brand to receive five stars in that category.

With more and more Aussies taking a DIY approach to their morning coffee in the name of saving money, it is no surprise that Expressi machines also received five stars for value for money; they are a mere $89. Combined with a milk frother at $27.99, an Expressi system will only set you back $117 – a steal compared to some of the high end products on the market.

The pods themselves are equally as affordable; with a pack of 16 setting you back $6. That saving adds up, and has made for some very happy consumers.

As an added extra, Expressi makes pods for your other favourite milk based drinks, with five varieties of hot chocolate to choose from if you don’t feel like a coffee.

A brief history of the company

While there isn’t a comprehensive history of the Expressi brand, we do know that it was brought to Australia by ALDI, the budget German supermarket.

These coffee machines have only been in stores for a short time, and were likely to have been introduced to rival Nespresso and Nescafe – who both released pod machines in recent years.
