After the initial announcement in September 2019, the iPhone 11 series took inspiration from the 2018 devices with a simple offering of three devices — the iPhone 11, which is the base model, the more premium iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which is the largest device out of the three. The iPhone 11 range was officially released in 20 September, 2019.

Of course, all of these devices come with a hefty price tag if you’re looking to buy your device outright, with prices ranging from $1,199 AUD to $2,499 AUD. Optus has all three devices available to buy and bundle with a phone plan, which you could find to be a more affordable option as it spreads your device payments over 12, 24 or 36 months. The only catch is you’ll be locked into Optus for the duration of your phone payment plan, unless you pay off the remainder of your device.

Optus iPhone plans

Optus offers its device and plans separately so you can choose between a 12, 24 or 36-month payment period for your device and then bundle with a postpaid plan. If you choose to pay your device off over 12 months, your monthly device payment will be quite expensive, and that’s even before adding on a postpaid plan. Paying off your device over 24 or 36 months will generally be a cheaper monthly price, but you will pay the save price overall as on the 12-month option. While the 36 month payment period offers the cheapest monthly device price, you’ll be locked in for a lot longer, so keep this in mind when comparing iPhone plans and prices.

Lets take a look at how much it will cost you to buy the iPhone 11 series on a phone plan from Optus.

Optus iPhone 11 phone plans

The more basic device in the range, the iPhone 11 still packs a punch when it comes to features and inclusions. The phone display is 6.1 inches and comes in a range of six colours including White, Black, Yellow, Green, Purple and (PRODUCT) Red. You’ll also have three storage sizes to choose from — 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.

While the above table lists the prices for the Optus phone plans bundled with the 64GB iPhone 11, if you want the larger storage sizes, this will impact how much you pay for your phone plan each month, likewise the length of your device payment period. You will still have the choice of the same four plans, or the option to build your own postpaid phone plan.

Need a bigger phone? The iPhone 11 Pro Max comes with all the same premium features that the 11 Pro has, but the display for this device is at 6.5 inches. It’s available in the same three storage sizes, 64GB, 256GB and 512GB, and you’ll have the same colour choices with Space Grey, Silver, Gold and Midnight Green available.
