Telstra plans and deals for Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra

After the early 2021 release of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series, the 2020 range of Galaxy S20 devices are slowly disappearing. If you’re looking for a new feature-packed two-year phone plan for last years Galaxy S20+ or Galaxy S20 Ultra, Telstra’s plans offer premium features and exceptional coverage.

The telco no longer has stock of the entire Galaxy S20 series in selected storage sizes, so you may no longer be able to pick up your device of choice on a plan from Telstra. If you pick up a phone from Telstra, you’ll be able to bundle on a postpaid plan over 12, 24 or 36 months. These phones can be used on Telstra’s new 5G mobile network.

Samsung Galaxy S20 from Telstra

Telstra offers 12 and 24-month device payment options, which can be bundled with any of the month-to-month plans listed above. While you’re technically not locked into the plan itself (and free to swap between plans if you need), cancelling your plan with Telstra requires you to pay off the remainder of the device.

Why Telstra?

Worried about excess data charges? Telstra has now essentially scrapped excess data charges from all of its postpaid plans. This means that once you go over your allowance, you’ll be able to continue using your data but at capped speeds of 1.5Mbps. This is still fast enough for standard definition video streaming. If you’re interested in sports streaming, Telstra offers data-free AFLW and Netball streaming.
