About iiNet Broadband

iinet logoiiNet is the second largest Internet Service Provider in Australia with over 1.3 million customers.  iiNet was originally founded in 1993 by Michael Malone and Michael O’Reilly in a Perth garage.  Since then iiNet has experienced explosive growth, acquiring many smaller regional ISP’s and rolling out services across the country, and even for a time in New Zealand.

iiNet specialises in ADSL2+ broadband plans, both by their own and also bundled with phone services.  Their plans range in data quota from 100GB to 1000GB and come with optional modems.  Prices range from $29.95 to $109.95 and are typically cheaper with a bundled phone line and more expensive with no phone line.  Also included is the option for a Voice over IP, or VoIP service, which uses the internet to make phone calls.
