Want to save up to $600 on your groceries each year (and score a great value phone plan in the process)? Woolworths Mobile’s latest deal gives customers a 10% discount EVERY MONTH on Woolworths orders, including in-store and online shopping.
The supermarket giant is offering up to $50 off monthly grocery shops for any eligible Woolworths Mobile customers with a linked Woolworths Rewards card. Essentially, savvy buyers can save up to $600 annually on groceries and essentials, simply by claiming their 10% discount each month.
There’s no real catch to the deal, although there are terms and conditions you’ll need to be aware of. Eligible customers can claim 10% off a single grocery shop to the value of $500 per month, meaning you’ll save up to $50 per monthly transaction – just scan or enter your Woolworths Rewards card at checkout.
However, the discount offer is only active during the second weekend of every month, and only on the first shop you make during this period. So if you don’t make a Woolies purchase over the discount weekend, you’ll forgo your 10% savings for that month.
Woolworths is also excluding some products and services from the offer, including tobacco and smoking products, mobile recharges and Woolworths Mobile purchases, lottery products, vouchers, gift cards (including iTunes), and travel cards. How to claim your 10% Woolworths discount
Upcoming 10% off dates will be emailed to Woolworths Rewards members, plus listed on the Woolworths Mobile website. Currently, the next 10% discount weekend is the 14th and 15th of March, 2020.
The discount is available to both postpaid and prepaid Woolworths Mobile customers, although you’ll need to meet certain criteria to be eligible. To qualify, you’ll need to opt-in to monthly marketing emails, and you’ll also need to link your mobile account to your Woolworths Rewards card.
Customers are also required to keep their account active and all payments up-to-date, and prepaid users need to make sure their service is fully recharged before each expiry. If you’re new to Woolworths Mobile, there’s a 60-day waiting period before you can start claiming your discount, and a 14-day waiting period after linking your account to your Rewards card.
The offer is open to both in-store and online shoppers, and buying online generally gives you more time to take advantage of the deal. But you’ll need to ensure your Woolworths Rewards card is linked to your online shopping account in order to score your discount.
Finally, this offer isn’t currently available in Tasmania, and doesn’t include the Tasmania Frequent Shopper Club Program.
