LG began life as the Lak-Hui Chemical Industrial Corporation in Korea in 1947 and was the first Korean company to enter the plastics industry in 1952. Six years later it merged with GoldStar, an electronics subsidiary, and became Lucky Goldstar, or LG for short. While widely known for their domestic electronics and appliances around the world, in South Korea LG is also a major manufacturer of toiletries and cleaning products.
LG manufacturers both heat-pump and condenser clothes dryers in both 8 kg and 9 kg load sizes. LG’s clothes dryers also come with the unique TrueSteam feature which can generate steam to be utilised in select drying programs, helping to reduce odours and wrinkles. The dedicated refresh program can be used to freshen up clothing which has been worn for a short period.
