Who is Goodyear Autocare?

Who is Goodyear Autocare? The autocare division of Goodyear, one of the biggest tyre companies in the world, describes itself as a one-stop shop for auto needs. Its parent company was founded in 1898 in America, just before automobiles (and subsequently automobile tyres) became a serious consumer concern.

Goodyear tyres were used on Henry Ford’s Model T when it was first produced in 1908, and Goodyear quickly went on to become one of the world’s biggest tyre companies. The company first entered the Australian market in 1915 for distribution arrangements. In 1989 the company established its automotive services franchise, and in 2006 the franchise was relaunched as Goodyear Autocare.

Currently, Goodyear Autocare has more than 130 stores nationwide.

What our survey respondents say about Goodyear Autocare

Canstar Blue’s most recent car servicing survey sought the opinions of more than 500 drivers across the country. Some of the comments from customers of Goodyear Autocare were as follows:

Good location. Well priced. Easy to deal with. No loan cars.
Professional and on the mark. Creeping up in price.
Friendly, helpful, explained things to me. I got a voucher for the service and it saved me a fair bit of money. Parts are expensive and I often service my own car at home so it can be hard to justify paying someone else to do it every time.
They usually have everything I need for my car and the service of it. Waiting area is small and could be improved.
Fairly good value and all round vehicle care. Long waiting list.
