Tango Energy slashes winter gas bills by $150 for Victorians

Melbourne-based provider Tango Energy is easing the pressure of winter heating costs for Victorian households thanks to a generous new gas bill credit.

The retailer is slashing a whopping $150 off its natural gas offer for new customers in the state. This credit will be awarded as a one-off payment on customers’ first bill.

To access the deal, households will need to sign up to Tango Energy’s Home Select Plus plan, which offers variable rates on a no lock-in contract. There are also no exit fees.

Home Select Plus is currently one of the cheapest natural gas offers available to households in Victoria and follows a wave of significant price increases from other gas retailers in the state earlier this year.

The $150 credit can also be redeemed when new Victorian customers sign up to a dual fuel offering with Tango Energy.

For the full terms and conditions on this offer it is best to visit the Tango Energy website for more details.

While these offers may appear to be a good deal, it’s important to remember that almost all of these are awarded as a one-off payment, which means prices may change significantly once the discount is removed. Be sure to check the energy fact sheet before making a final purchase decision to ensure the usage and supply rates also align with the gas usage needs of your households and offer you the best value.
