Keen for some price pain relief on both your home power bills and trips to the bowser? Then it could be time to check out the newly-launched Ampol Energy and its attractive fuel discount offer.
That’s right, petrol major turned energy provider Ampol Energy is now not only dishing out competitively priced home power plans, but also serving a whopping 10c off per litre discount to eligible customers who sign up to its energy offer.
The fuel discount will see customers on the ‘Powering On’ plan from the provider rewarded with fuel discounts on up to 1,500 litres each year, on both regular and premium Amplify fuels. The discount will be eligible at over 600 participating Ampol stations.
To access this discount, customers will need to have the Ampol app handy on their mobile or hand-held device and use the same email address as is used for their energy account when logging into Ampol.
Currently, this offer is only valid for households in south-east Queensland, however interested customers outside of this area can join the waitlist via Ampol Energy’s website for updates on when the provider may be moving into their area.

How do I access the Ampol Energy fuel discount?
To access the Ampol Energy fuel discount, customers will need to be signed up to the provider’s Powering On offer and have downloaded the Ampol app.
In the app, under the ‘rewards’ tab, will be a QR code, which customers will need to scan when paying for their fuel at a participating Ampol service station.
The QR code can only be redeemed once a day. However, customers who top up more than once in a day can continue redeeming their fuel discount by paying for their purchase through Ampol’s FuelPay.
Customers can access this discount on up to 1,500 litres per year, with the tally refreshing on the anniversary of the energy plan sign-up date.
Eligible fuels on this offer include:
- Amplify Premium Unleaded 98 Petrol
- Amplify Premium Unleaded 95 Petrol
- Unleaded 91 Petrol
- Bio E10 Unleaded Petrol
- Amplify Premium Diesel
- Extra Low Sulphur Diesel
Ampol’s AdBlue Diesel Exhaust Fluid and Ampol LPG are ineligible for this discount.
Customers are also unable to use their fuel discount in conjunction with any other Ampol fuel discounts.
To find an eligible store, customers are encouraged to use the Store Locator via the Ampol app. Please note, however, that EG stations are not included in the participating stores.
